Roscoe: Mastiff, Dog; Marblehead, MA

Roscoe

Mastiff/Great Pyrenees Mix: An adoptable dog in Marblehead, MA

Extra Large • Adult • Male
Roscie is a one year old boy who was surrendered to us by his owners. Roscie is a large dog who is not yet done growing and we would not be surprised to see him reach 90 pounds or more. He generally does well with other dogs and he has been OK with cats, although he will chase them. He has been excellent with children. Roscoe is eager to please and quick to learn. He is an absolutely charming dog who will make a fabulous pet for a family with a medium activity level. He is good in the house and on the leash and is a really wonderful dog.
This is a dog on petfinder.com. He is in need of a home and is also very cute!

This shelter was one of the worst. They became famous by treating animals the wrong way. Now things are being done to stop the mistreating of animals and put them in a good shelter where they are fed and taken care of until adopted. This shelter was on the news in the past for starving the animals. The shelter would also kill the animals too quickly so they never had an actual chance to be adopted. Its so sad that someone had to step in for someone to do something about it so the animals live a decent life.

Animals are now safely up for adoption. You can go on their website and all the dogs are healthy due to everyone in the country participating in trying to make the dogs live the way their supposed to. The shelter had a lawsuit against them for animal abuse and they quickly learned from their mistakes. They also had several complaints about adopted animals in the past. Hopefully they dont plan on doing this ever again.

Be Kind to Animals Week!

This week is the official "Be Kind to Animals Week" So make sure you are especially kind to whatever kind of pet you have. Every animal has a story so make sure yours is treated the way it should be. There are several animals out there that were never treated the way they should be. This is a week to remember them and be happy for all that have been saved and live a happy life.

This is a post from the website petfinder.com. She is one of the millions of animals that want to be rescued.

Awesome Way to Adopt

petfinder.com

Great website if your looking for a new pet. There are several other shelters to choose from but this is one of the most popular. These animals come from many different homes and the website provides a story in each of the animals life. Many are great pets. An example of an adoptable dog is in my newer post. Many of the dogs are never adopted and end up having to be put to sleep. To prevent this adoption is always an option.

Puppy Mills

Puppy mills are all over the world. They are the worst places for puppies to be bred because they are in small cages and often have several problems. These are the places where pet stores get their animals from. Thats why they are sold for so much. Puppy mills are very sad places yet they still exist.

First Post

Welcome to my blog. Millions of animals are in need of homes. Animals are being overbred and its becoming unhealthy for the enviroment. Many dogs come from puppy mills which are a terrible way to be bred. Pet stores sell the dogs and animals from puppy mills. The animals arent treated the way they should be. With this occuring there are also many strays in the larger cities of America. These dogs go to shelters or pounds where if they are not rescued they have to be euthenized due to too many in the area.
